Established in 1984, Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA) has thrived into a preeminent institution dedicated to nurturing the creative talents and professional development of the region's fashion luminaries. Founded by a visionary cohort of accomplished local designers, this non-profit, self-sustaining organization has steadfastly sought to unite practitioners imbued with both technical mastery and innovative flair.

Over the course of four decades, the HKFDA has evolved into an indispensable platform for idea-sharing and experience-building within the industry. Through the curation of diverse programming - from runway presentations and exhibitions to seminars and master class - the association has facilitated invaluable discourse within the industry. This collaborative ethos has been integral to the Association's mission of elevating both individual careers and the broader Hong Kong fashion landscape.

As one of the event during the Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2024, "VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture", aims to create a momentous cultural event that connects the Mainland, Hong Kong, and the global fashion community. It will be a harmonious convergence of art and couture fashion, celebrating visionary designs and meticulous details while fostering an inspirational exchange between fashion designers, buyers, media and industry professionals.

"VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture" aims to invite 4 esteemed International Couture Fashion Designers including Charles de Vilmorin from France, Mohamed Benchellal from the Netherlands, Cheney Chan from the Mainland, China and Kay Kwok from Hong Kong, China in a grandiose and extravagant showcase—a groundbreaking Couture Fashion Show in Hong Kong. Showcasing meticulously crafted couture ensembles, this event will take place on 25th November 2024, offering an evening of opulence and allure and will attract the most influential figures in fashion, art, design and culture.
