Charles de Vilmorin

Charles de Vilmorin

Charles de Vilmorin launched his house in 2020 by posting images of his creations on Instagram. In January 2021, he joined the Official Calendar of Paris Haute Couture Week as a guest. His collection featured bold and poetic designs with dreamlike hand-painted motifs that would become his signature. The same year, he was appointed artistic director of Rochas. In July 2023, his eponymous brand was once again featured in the Official Calendar of Paris Haute Couture Week. Later, in October, he chaired the Fashion Jury at the Hyères Festival, and in December, he took over as Artistic Director of the Galeries Lafayette Christmas, which he adorned with his unique creative imagination. He presented his first ready-to-wear collection in March 2024.

Later that year, in early summer 2024, Charles de Vilmorin designed the Moët In Paris restaurant in collaboration with chef Yannick Alléno and Moët & Chandon. He also presented his second FW24 Couture show, a collection in which spectators plunged into a giant Cluedo—a bewitching and mysterious collection that also revealed the CAREL x Charles de Vilmorin collaboration. In July, during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Charles de Vilmorin dressed the ‘Liberté’ painting, symbolizing L’amour à la Française.
