As a flagship event of Hong Kong Fashion Fest 2025, organised by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, “VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture” returns on November 22, 2025, at Central Ferry Pier 4. This year’s showcase returns as an extraordinary celebration of craftsmanship, artistry, and cultural dialogue, presenting the pinnacle of couture.

A new chapter in 2025

More than a fashion show, “VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture” is an artistic dialogue that transcends cultures and borders. The inaugural edition last year garnered widespread acclaim, capturing attention from designers and fashion communities around the world. Now firmly established as a hallmark of exceptional craftsmanship of global couture, the event has become a luminous platform for international fashion exchange in Hong Kong, affirming the city’s status as a vibrant nexus where East meets West in style and vision.

In 2025, “VIRTUOSE” will continue its mission of celebrating the timeless pursuit of creativity, craftsmanship, and quality embodied in couture. Four distinguished couture designers from different countries and regions will take centre stage, presenting their unique fashion philosophies through runway shows and exclusive trunk shows — paying tribute to the ultimate artistry of  couture.

A Dialogue of Cultures and Craftsmanship

Curated as an artistic and cultural dialogue between four exceptional designers, VIRTUOSE 2025 will feature Peet Dullaert from France, Tomo Koizumi from Japan, Zhaoyi Yu from Mainland China, and Caroline Hu from Hong Kong, China. Together, these designers will present 40 meticulously crafted couture ensembles in two immersive fashion shows. Each piece embodies the designer’s distinctive cultural heritage, along with their unique tailoring and style, illustrating the highest form of fashion — the very essence of couture. By interpreting the fusion of tradition and innovation, their collections reveal the boundless possibilities of contemporary craftsmanship. Beyond redefining couture, the event highlights the unwavering pursuit of artistry and technical mastery that defines today’s leading designers.

 

A Sensorial Journey from Day to Night

Last year, VIRTUOSE transformed couture into a mesmerizing spectacle against Hong Kong's iconic 270-degree skyline. This year, VIRTUOSE 2025 will set couture in motion against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, transforming Central Ferry Pier 4 into a captivating runway. Two intimate yet opulent shows — a 3 PM day show and a 7 PM evening soirée (by Invitation only) will unfold on 22 November. These meticulously curated presentations bring a sensorial journey from day to night, unveiling couture against Hong Kong’s urban skyline to create a visual symphony of culture and elegance. Fashion luminaries, collectors, and media alike will be captivated by an enchanting celebration of unparalleled sophistication and craftsmanship. Both shows will be live-broadcasted on HKFDA’s YouTube and VIRTUOSE’s Instagram, bringing this immersive visual celebration to audiences worldwide.

By honing its focus to four exceptional and seasoned designers, “VIRTUOSE：The Artistry of Couture 2025” will amplify the narrative of each creator, ensuring a more profound cultural exchange between East and West.
