Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association
Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA) was founded in 1984 by a group of successful and enthusiastic local fashion designers. As a non-profit making and self-financed organization, it aims to unite fashion designers, with both professionalism and expertise, to develop and better both their careers and the industry within and beyond the territory.
With supports from the industry and fellow designers in the past 41 years, the Association has evolved to a key platform to share ideas and experiences through organizing fashion events such as catwalk shows, seminars, interviews and group discussions. HKFDA is recognized as one of the leading fashion institutions in the region of Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China and other cities in the South Pacific region.
Highly applauded by the public and media, the most renowned and recognized annual events held by HKFDA are “Best Dressed Award”, “Fashion Visionaries” and "Juxtaposed" show and exhibition, and “The Young Talent Award”.

As a flagship event of Hong Kong Fashion Fest and riding on the tremendous success last year, VIRTUOSE: The Artistry of Couture" will return in 2025 as an extraordinary celebration of couture craftsmanship, engaging the global fashion elite in a mesmerizing fusion of art, culture, and fashion. This year’s edition will spotlight 4 internationally emerging visionary couturiers in 2 group shows that redefines the essence of couture.
Curated as an artistic and cultural dialogue between various Couture Designers, VIRTUOSE 2025 will present a tightly edited selection of around 12-15 meticulously crafted ensembles from each designer, embodying the pinnacle of artistic expression and technical mastery. Held in late November 2025, the event will transform Hong Kong into a nocturnal stage of elegance, drawing fashion luminaries, collectors, and media around the Asian-Pacific region for a journey of unparalleled sophistication.
